The editions of the Online Journal of Rural and Urban Research present articles outlining the critical health and educational issues impacting urban and rural communities. OJRUR will feature collaborative work between the academy and community, scientifically and conceptually based commentaries, and research to shape intervention development and policy making.
The Jackson State University Mississippi Urban Research Center's Online Journal of Rural and Urban Research is a source of applied and behavioral research that informs rural and urban health. Special emphasis is on the application of science through improving the health of rural and urban communities of color and underserved populations.
Accepted submissions to the online journal will be published bi-annually, with review articles, research in progress, full documentation, and referenced.
